The Sports & Social Club has been at the heart of the community of Writtle for over 50 years. The Writtle Sports & Social Club is based in Paradise Road, Writtle and is the home of many sports and activities including Senior Football, Junior Football, Tennis, Cricket, Table Tennis, Sewing & Crafts, Keep fit, Dance etc.
The bar area is spacious and comfortable and looks out over the playing field. Players of all Sections using the facilities at Paradise Road become members of Writtle Sports & Social Club and are encouraged to use the facilities and familities are always welcome. The Bar opening times are:
Tuesday - Thursday: 8pm to 11pm
Friday: 6pm to 10pm
Saturday: 5pm to 11pm
Sunday: 12pm to 2pm
The Function Hall is one of the best in the area and includes ample tables, chairs and lighting. There is access to the bar and a kitchen area which enables users to prepare or re-heat meals as required. The Hall also acts as a venue for the Table Tennis, Dance and Keep Fit Sections.
Members have the option to join as Individual or as Family Members of the Sports & Social Club which entitles you to discounted Hall hire rates if you mention this when booking.
